1. Verizon Family Plans
If you want to sign up for the nation’s largest wireless phone operator, the best option is to select one of the carrier’s Unlimited plans. There are plenty of options for every user in the family. With more lines, the prices per line get lower. You’ll have a $35 plan for kids, offering more parental controls and location tracking.
2. AT&T Family Plans
AT&T offers three unlimited plans for families. The cheapest one is called Unlimited Starter for $65 a month for one line, while a four-line package is available for $140 — $35 per line. Your 4G LTE data speeds could be hindered at any time if the carrier is getting too much traffic.
The second plan of AT&T is called Unlimited Extra for $75 a month for one line or $160 a month for four lines at $40 per line. It includes 5GB of free high-speed mobile hotspot data a month and you get 50GB of data before any throttling kicks in.
The third one is the most expensive plan i.e. Unlimited and More Premium for $80 per month for one line. Pricing goes down to $48 per month if you opt for four lines for $190 per month in total. This plan has the same offerings as AT&T’s Unlimited Extra and also gives you a premium streaming service of choice i.e., HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, VRV, Pandora Premium, or Spotify Premium.
3. T-Mobile family plans
T-Mobile is unique in a way that it only offers unlimited postpaid plans, with no plans for limited amounts of data. The basic unlimited plan costs $60 a month for one line, $45 a month each for two lines, $35 a month each for three lines, $30 a month each for four lines, and $27 a month for every additional line. It includes unlimited Talktime, text, and data while in T-Mobile’s network.
You can also use T-Mobile Magenta plan where you get 3GB of LTE mobile hotspot data, 5GB of 4G data in Canada and Mexico, and a free Netflix account, for $70 a month for a single line, $60 a month each for two lines, $40 a month each for three lines, $35 a month each for four lines, and $32 a month for 5 lines.
4. Sprint Family Plans
The unlimited basic is the cheapest unlimited Sprint plan and is the best of its family plans. One line costs $60 a month, and two lines cost a total of $100. If you want to add third, fourth or the fifth line to the account, it will cost $20 a month each. Often you get offers where you might get five lines for $100 a month!
Apart from unlimited data, talk, and texting in the US, the Sprint Unlimited Basic plan also offers support for streaming video at up to 480p resolution. This plan offers unlimited talk, text, and 5GB of LTE data a month for people who travel to Mexico and Canada, along with text and 2G data for over 200 other countries.
5. Simple Mobile plans
Simple Mobile is the subsidiary of T-Mobile’s network, and the prices compete against Magenta. All plans have unlimited talk, text, international text, international calling to 69 countries, and roaming in 16 Latin American countries.
The plans start at $25 per month for 3GB of data. You may also get 15GB for $40, or $50 for unlimited data. Added lines would cost $20 for the $25 service plan and $25 for all other plans.
